Site Design and Maintenance by eMaginarium

Truly a story book picture, the home and cattery belong to Elizabeth (Betsy) and Ed Gaither, both retired CPA's enjoying life in the country. They found the site for their home and cattery nestled between aged live oak trees, surrounded by fields of wild flowers atop a hillside in Austin county, approximately 65 miles northwest of Houston.
The beginnings of the cattery trace back to my birthday in 1993, when my son gave me a very special present. This special Maine Coon was CH Magicoons Bluebonnet Belle, a brown mackerel tabby female. She gave my cattery the 'Belle' portion of the name and thus the 'Texas Belle Cattery' came to be and was licensed that same year.

The Purrrfect floorplan...
The cattery occupies approximately one third of our home on two floors. The males (currently 2) and females (currently 4) both enjoy rooms with three sided glass enclosures and custom designed furniture for their comfort, exercise and enjoyment.

As such, the kittens are raised UNDER FOOT, quite literally, if you are not careful! Keeping our numbers small allows this close family contact and provides abundant social contact ...

And that pleases both me and the furry children!

Say hello to Ross!

Enjoying a walk through the spring bluebonnets - under the watchful eye of Betsy at all times!

Another purrroud addition to Betsy's family. Her first non-feline grandchild who's not the least bit spoiled.
